SHOJI is built on T6-6063 aluminium extruded into profiles with a 3.5 mm wall thickness. That number matters: it is the point at which the profile reads as a line rather than a frame. The glass — not the metal — becomes the surface you see.
Three profile families cover every condition. SHOJI Classic for the standard residential or hospitality brief, SHOGUN where a dual-tone or heavier visual is wanted, and SUKI for the most minimal expression. All three run as fixed screens, single or synchro sliding panels, telescopic systems, dual-hinge doors, or sliding-plus-swing combinations.
The system is grounded in the principles of wabi-sabi and ma: simplicity, and the considered use of empty space. Where a conventional partition announces itself, SHOJI recedes. The opening it creates is what the eye goes to.
Fixed, sliding, synchro, telescopic — one profile vocabulary
Sliding configurations run single-panel or synchro, where two panels move in opposite directions from a central point. Telescopic systems stack multiple panels behind one another, opening a wide span while the stacked panels occupy minimal wall depth. All configurations share the same profile family, so a project can mix a fixed screen in one position and a motorised sliding panel in another without introducing a second material language.
Grid designs — Ligne, Quadra, Rise, Arc and ArcPro — set the rhythm of the screen independent of the configuration. A Ligne grid on a synchro sliding panel reads differently from Arc on a fixed screen; both are the same profile, the same wall thickness, the same hardware family.
Intelligent access integrates where it is needed. Motorised operation is available across configurations. The system reaches 4200 mm in height.

The infill is where character lives
Glass choices run from clear to frosted, patterned Tactile, and Numartis textured art glass. Multi-layer glass is available for acoustic and thermal separation where a room requires it. Wood, tile and laminate infills are specified where glass is not the right answer for a particular panel.
Finishes come in matt, metallic and wood-tone options across the three profile families. T6-6063 aluminium takes anodising and powder coating well: the oxide layer that anodising grows on the metal itself resists scratches harder than paint, and powder coat delivers a 10–15 year gloss with quality powder. Both are available on SHOJI profiles.
Paloma shower enclosures share the same hardware finish vocabulary, so a bathroom that uses SHOJI for wet-dry zoning and Paloma for the enclosure can be specified from a single material palette.
